Thanks guys, it was a dirty valve. Cleaned it up, replaced the O-rings and gasket and put it back, seemed fine for a little drive. Cleared the codes, took for a longer drive and it is back to normal!

Drove it home, no luck with blowing it out unfortunately. Luckily not much traffic. Once it got going it was fine until I had to slow down or get off the accelerator, then it was back to black smoke....

That's why I told them I'll pick the truck up. Got it home OK...blew a lot of black smoke but it is home. Will pull valve in the morning and hope that is the problem!
