Help please! Getting ready for fuel lines.

So I'm on the last major installation, fuel tank and fuel lines, I went ahead and purchased some fittings, and I'm going to added them to the end of the factory fuel lines once I cut them, and I was wondering if this would be the best approach, I will basically cut the factory lines, and flare them, then I will add this fittings to the ends, and them the rest will be soft lines all the way to the fuel tank.

Help with fuel tank!

So I was confused on where the fuel tank used to be mounted before, and today when I went to install it, I realized that it will hit the transfer case, I have no room to move it back side it will also hit the rear axle, so I was wondering if there is a way to cut it and patch it up, to make it shorter, what do you guys think? On the picture I need to cut all that in front of my finger to the right.

Sorry @F100stroke I thought @h0trod would have chimed in. He's built a couple 6 doors and has quite a bit of custom fab experience.

Oh no problem man, I will be using the fuel tank out of an expedition, since it has the same dimensions except that it is shorter, so I will experiment with one of those for now, thanks for the help though.

Finally after 35 days of training in the desert, I'm finally home and ready to work on this thing, and im in luck, i found a fuel tank out of a 2014 f250 diesel and this thing fits right where the old one used to go, it surprises me that the 2014 has such a small fuel tank, only 26 gallons and it is about a foot and half shorter than the 38 gallon tank I originally had, so now i can get back in to it.

I wondered where ya been. Training? military? If so go to the User CP (upper right) and then to Group Memberships and request to join the Military Member group.

Looking forward to seeing that project running, keep at it.
