2008 6.4 wiring issue ?? I think

I purchased this 2008 F350 at auction and it has been a great truck for the most part
when I purchased it the dash gauges would act up by the gauges going out and the message center would light up like a Christmas tree. Sent the gauge cluster in for repairs and they fixed it and all was great until 3 weeks ago
the dash is doing the same thing again so I sent it back for repairs and they said it fine. !!
I checked all of the grounds and added additional grounds to be sure but no fix.

It starts and runs just fine for miles then the dash will light up and gauges die for 5 to 15 min then it returns to normal. the truck always runs great both ways. but if I shut down the truck with the dash acting up the pat's locks me out. I need to disconnect the batteries for about 30 min then it will reset and start.

I have had it in the shop for two week with them trying to find the issue with no luck, They replaced the Dash cluster connector saying some pins were bad ?? but no luck it did it again.

they are claiming that it is my H&S tuner. but when I talked to the H&S guys they say it is not and cant do that, I even spoke with SCV tuner think of replacing it and they said don't waste your money it not the tuner, they could have just sold me one for the sale but good guys

I am at a loss of where to look next any ideas

It's interesting that P0578 does not appear in the PC/ED.

So... the other two are:

...and:

Given U0155, it is not surprising that you are having cluster issues. Both codes refer to the Workshop Manual section 418-00. The files comprising that section are attached.

Wiring issue solved

I thought I would finish this off as we have found the issue and man do I feel stupid and the shop that charged me 2000.00 should as well.

If you have an issue with Ford Super duty's Check the OBD plug, !! the retaining clips that hold the pins in place dry out and or Break causing the pins to misalign and touch each other or not make proper contact with OBD reader

All fixed $18.00 Amazon
