backhoebill Wow Sparky! What the heck happened to start that fire. I sure hope you can remember everything that you had in there, so documentation can lead to replacement. It sucks having to remember everything before the insurance adjuster leaves. Take care of that paw. I donít think you would make a great Captain Hook

6.7ferd Yes it is. Sounds like you were busy. Hopefully the adjuster can get out there soon and get you a more than fair estimate.

BTL Sparky,
From my personal experience with burns, after the blisters let go the margins (where the live skin is) will get somewhat hard and then itch like hell. Then as time goes on when you flex the same area it will crack and sting for awhile. The itching to me is always the worst part. My worst burn was on top off the arch on my foot. I pulled off my boot and I could see the size of the blister right through my sock. It was a little bigger than my thumb and was so full of water it looked like it would pop if I yelled at it!
I wish you good luck with the healing process and with your insurance company.
Take care,
BTL

Oh hell no! I had to clean out 3 bays to get everything back inside. The 2 worst bays I left alone till the adjuster comes. And I had to order a dumpster, gonna have to take pics and notes as I pitch stuff so I can claim it all.
All that plus I had to go see a doctor today, that's always fun (and expensive)

Yeah fire is scary stuff. I ran down there and soon as I opened the door about 60' from where his bike was sitting the heat was so bad it kinda took my breath away. Open three of the sliding doors and started getting stuff out. Well I did empty my only fire extinguisher on the side by side, but it didn't touch it, so I backed it out while it was burning. Then I tried to get the excavator but it was so darn hot I couldn't do it. Took me three tries to drag his bike out, had to toss the chain thru the back rack and catch the end with my foot. Amazing how hot it was burning. The peak to my roof is around 15' and the ridge purlins caught and started spreading. That's when I started hoping to hear sirens coming.

6.7ferd Yea that doesn't look like fun. But at least everything lost is replaceable.
