Gotcha. So the door chimes still work through the other speakers? That's the only reason I thought the center was needed for.
I bought a PAC Amp Pro to use for integrating an aftermarket amp with the factory head unit. They also have a harness APH-FD01 if you want to keep the factory speaker wires without cutting into the harness. I plan to run my own and drill through the molex in the door jams.

|RayW72||Just curious how it sounded with the center speaker running off the factory amp? How did it keep up with the other speakers volume wise? Is it even worth keeping? Have you tested without it? I'm in the same dilemma.|

For a bit of background, I'll be pulling my Sony amp and using the Rockford DSR1 to take its place. My amp I currently have is a JL XD1000/5v2 5 channel amp that I will use channels 1-4 to power my components in the front and back and channel 5 for my sub. This leaves my center speaker unpowered since the Sony amp is going to be removed. I currently have an Infinity REF-3022cfx in my center speaker now that is rated for 25w RMS. This being said, does anyone have a recommendation for a small amp that I can use to power this little guy? There are a few cheapo mini amps out there but they all seem to be from the "budget" brands.
