MrTommy "News you can use". I love it.

The last line says it all. "It's a Ford. It sounds like a Mercedes".

Fixing those door rattles

One thing that has driven me insane with my 2013 has always been the the constant light rattling from the back doors. Lately it has become a major annoyance, primarily because I was focusing on it. That said, I didn't want to drop 100+ dollars on replacement weatherstripping. Found this video (below) and did exactly what this guy shows. Went on Amazon and bought the tubing. Took off the back door weatherstripping, sprayed it down with silicone spray and fed the tubing through with a tape. Only SNAFU I had was at the very end the tubing wanted to 'stretch' more than it wanted to feed. I ended up cutting it off with about 10" of gap between the end of the tubing and the end of the weatherstripping. I cut a 10" piece of tubing, siliconed it up, and sent it through. Mounted it all back on the door and took a trip down the bumpiest road I could find. This trick eliminated 99% of any noise. I couldn't be happier with a 10 minute modification and 30 dollars for 50' of tubing. If you have annoying rattles, give this a shot.
