So far, so good. Definitely runs better and smoother.

I'll keep ya in mind. I'll keep ya in mind just in case. I'll be doing some very minor steering upgrades once it warms up and i'll give ya a call just in case.
Ya, I commented on it with my HF badlands winch I have on my tilt trailer. Lol. I just didn't know what exact model you were looking at with options, and that you were looking to actually buy like right now. Lol. No worries my friend.

I don't think I had a fuse on any of my other vehicles but is there something special about the 7.3l lol?

airborneduckhunter Not today but Saturday was a busy day. Rotate tires, oil change with oil filter and fuel filter, new rotors and brakes for all four wheels and installed new oil cooler O-rings. all day affair, but glad to finally get these things done, especially the O-rings, which solved my cold start leak problems. New brakes feel good too.

ToyMan Started my 2wd to 4wd front axle swap.

Started by removing the leaking power steering gear box from the truck and taking inventory of parts I need:

New charge tube silicon boots

Looks like I need to have the hydra boost brake booster rebuilt, the cover inside the truck is wet

need to get all new hydra boost and steering gear lines.

And?

Anyway I started which means I hope to have it done in a couple of weeks.

When I would monitor it with the Torque Pro app trying to see if the glowshift gauge was off (and it was horribly horribly off) I got a sort of "feel" for what it should be doing. You step on it hard, it should shoot up to the 2800 ish range. At idle after start its around 750, idle after warm is 475 to 500, and cruising seems to be 1500 to 2000. My autometer runs just like that so I am supper happy with it.

Since I wanted a third gauge and didnt need a trans temp for the zf6, got this one to sort of gauge how hard the truck is trying. Will be interesting to watch a real time accurate (not glow shift) reading while towing up a grade.
Awesome. I believe my pressures are around the same as yours. I'm super jelly about the ZF6 though. One day I will get my swap done so I'll have one lol
