2009 F250 6.4 Fan Clutch engaged at 60mph
So my 2009 160K miles had a rear mean seal job done 2 months ago. After that, my EGR valve and DPF began to have issues to the point I had no turbo and truck sounded like a train engine trying to do the regen kin the system. So I had a EGR & DPF complete delete, issue solve. But than right after I took it home the fan kept coming on every 30 seconds and very loud. (Now I have had that sound befor since I live in Houston Tx. and it gets hot here) but never had that fan clutch cycle that hard for that long so frequently. So I took it back to the mechanic and he said the fan clutch needed to be change. So now I'm $4500 after replacing the fan clutch but the fan contentious to do the same thing. What gives??? All the components for EGR and DPF are still in and pluged but not functioning. If I get on it and gas it to 40mph it comes on really lound for 2minutes and goes off and cycles contentious. But it I drive it on the freeway at 60+ mph the fan clutch never cycles, it stays engaged the whole time.
Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated.
