Larry1013 Doubt it was the headlight switch that didn't like the 4 fog lamps in the bumper but the BCM. An FET controls the fog lamps. FET's can be blown by overloading the circuit they control. I highly suspect the previous owner blew the FET.

In an FET circuit, one should only use the circuit to control a relay that supplies the power to the high amp load. This will avoid blowing the FET and requiring the BCM to be replaced.

StrokinJoe14 Thank you for the help! I'll wire them to an upfitter this weekend. Someone had already replaced the 15 amp fuse with a 30 amp fuse before I got the truck. I'm pretty sure the headlight switch didn't like the 4 fog lamps in the bumper anyways.

Larry1013 Probably not with FORScan.

If you check the drawings I posted, you will see the output from fuse 47 and the fog lamp relay feed back to the light switch to illuminate the orange fog light indicator. To me, if the fog lamp indicator does illuminate, then the fag lamp relay is not energizing. The BCM is not serviceable. The BCM stores your PATS key codes.

Might be best and cheapest solution is to put them on an upfitter switch as you are indicating.

StrokinJoe14 Well, dang. I may end up putting them on an upfitter switch. Will I be able to see what's going on if I get the forscan app?

Larry1013 IF fuse 47 is good, then it appears you might have a bad BCM.

2014 F250 Fog light issue!

Hello everyone! I have a 2014 F250 and I'm having issues with the fog lights. I have checked fuse 47 in the kick panel and it is good. I have checked the wiring in the front bumper and I can power the lights with an external battery at the factory plug. I've also purchased a new motorcraft headlight switch and I still have nothing. The indicator on the headlight switch doesn't even come on anymore. I'm not sure what else to check at this point. Any help is greatly appreciated!
