BTL Not a Ford but the vehicle I want is a 1962 VW 3 door pickup. I have never owned a VW but that truck has been “calling” me for years.

I'm pretty sure I could get my money back out of it if I wanted to. The only things I have left to do is get the seats redone and paint it, but those aren't really high on my priority list.
I kind of like the older rangers or perhaps an F-100. I saw something I liked, a 1929 Ford Car, but that is likely a project that would never be finished.

If they're looking for examples to make the site better, I think therangerstation.com does it pretty well. They have a few features that would be nice to see here.

Agreed!

Folks I know over at PSN are not logging on much anymore - just because of the format change there. I am the same way .... I have backed off posting over there.

TheDieselStop is the same (actually it changed before PSN did).

If the owners think that a change in that direction won't affect forum activity here, they are mistaken.

They could skin it to look and act pretty much just like this, it would just be better and faster. The problem would be getting them to do it. For some reason when sites "upgrade", the owners don't seem to feel it is an upgrade unless everything is different.

Two other forums that I have belonged to for several years have migrated and the results are night and day.

AudioKarma.org took 6 months to a year to get most of the bugs worked out, but they have one of the nicest forum layouts of any I have had the pleasure to be a part of.

RoadGlide.org is currently a disaster in my opinion, but their migration is very recent and I am not sure how dedicated the IT staff is on making it better.

A few things I really like about XenForo are its speed, how it works with phones, and how it handles pictures. If you briefly visit the two sites I mentioned you can immediately see the difference, yet they are the same XenForo platform. If the site becomes horrible It won't be because of the platform, it will be implementation.
