6.7ferd Well I felt bad about the old girl nit being driven in a few weeks. So I fired her up this morning she came roaring to life and smoothed out after a few seconds. Took the boy down the street to school and noticed my battery light was on and my volts were around 11.5, so dropped him off and parked it back in the barn and hooked up the charger to it.

nitrogen Best of luck to Mrs G on Wednesday with the test.

6.7ferd Ahhh got that new to me work car. No need to drive it unless I'm pulling a trailer or hunting.

I decided against the V8 swap and just rebuilt both, so now I have a 260k mile ranger with about 5k on basically a brand new engine and transmission.

Now, in lieu of the V8 swap I'm seriously considering putting a blower on it. I already have the Eaton M90, just need to buy the install kit. The $2k for the kit is what's stopping me. LOL
A blower would definitely be a nice addition. Totally understand the money holding you up. The V8 swap was $$$ and very time consuming to do - even with a "swap kit".

Your in Commiefornia right? Make your brownies with that Skrewball and some edibles, and spend a day being weird.

TwinExcursions Seen others do that on the Ranger forums, bet that was a bit of work. Prolly a blast to drive. [/QUOTE]

Total fun to drive - especially the looks from people when they heard a 5.0 but saw a Ranger. Off road it was a beast - go though mud and snow without even having to pound on it. My friends used to joke it would climb trees if we could have figured out how.
