I'd guess that depends on loudness of bike and noise suppression of your helmet.

The gt air us supposed to be one of the most quiet there is. I have not ridden with it yet to conclude.

But yes. Especially with that cardo packtalk slim, I'd feel confident in saying you will clearly hear music and conversation. I'm enthralled with that unit. My sena, not so much. Very cheaply made. Down to the flimsy plastic, exposed 26awg wiring and clunky operation.
The cardo is smooth and elegant.

Hows the sound quality with the sena Jeff? If i'm gonna start wearing a skid lid I'd like to hear the stereo while still hearing the bike.
Honestly the cardo is a much better executed and quality product than the sena. I have the sena srl2 because my helmet us designed and manufactured specifically in partnership with sena for the srl2 to directly integrate into it.
For summer, her helmet didnt have that option, so we went with the cardo packtalk slim. Sound quality, overall quality, build quality. Ease of use. All far superior in my opinion. It has jbl speakers as well.

Think of it like using a BlackBerry (sena) vs an iphone 12 pro (cardo)

Or windows 95 on a Compaq vs the newest mac OS on an iMac pro.

Not even a comparison in my mind and I've been thinking about sending the sena back in favor of the cardo packtalk slim myself.

Hers is also completely touch free if you choose and will run entirely on any voice assistant of your choice. Just say hey cardo, hey google, hey siri, alexa etc. Meanwhile I have to tap morse code on the side of my helmet (usually with 2 fingers at a time) and listen for beeps as if I'm performing a hearing test.

Hers is 1 button sync initially and automatically syncs from there on out. Her speakers are replaceable, entire unit is ip67 water resistant. I mean the list is endless I could go on and on.

Now let's just make it to summer to do some riding before the corona virus hits here. It's way worse than is being reported

You do you boo.... I was just saying. Yeah 700 is more about comfort / material. Jeff has the coin so why not haha
