|nitrogen||If your insurance is any good at all, you shouldn't have to do any of the work yourself unless you really want to. The insurance should pay you to have professionals come in to do the cleanup and repair|

Thanks guys! I'll see how my hand looks in the morning. Damn what a night! I was down dragging stuff back in to get it out of the rain. We had a good inch of rain today then the fire trucks added quite a bit more water. My Harley was sitting out in the driveway, I was just getting everything out while I was waiting for the firefighters. So I was trying to ride that top heavy bagger thru the mud. I got it in without dropping it, that was a victory right there. My tractors and skid steer get to spend the night in the rain. I did start the excavator but I didn't try to move it, some of the hoses look pretty sketchy. I think that's where I burnt my hand, it was right next to Jack's bike and I jumped on it but it was too hot to move. So then I got a tractor and a chain and dragged his bike out. Can't believe how bad his bike is, his aluminum wheels melted off, just piles of melted aluminum now. My sister-in-law said she didn't know I could move that fast. Said what the hell, not gonna stand there with marshmallows, Have a lifetime's worth of tools and equipment in there.
What a sick feeling looking around down there, my heart really goes out to anyone who's lost a house, damn I can't even imagine that!
Oh well, I called my insurance agent and left a message. I've been paying a lot for a farm & ranch policy. Need a new roof on the barn, replace the stuff that burnt and get everything cleaned up. Bad part is, this time tomorrow it's supposed to drop into the teens. Think I'm gonna be busy.
