you rock

and injectrs dirrect seems to be one of the better ways to go

at least from what i hear

i myself have been blessed to not have to go through that on my truck yet

probably shouldnt have said that i know how that works

looks like i will be swapping out the u joints on the front hubs in the near future starting to get a whir from the drivers side u joint.

no doubt from when the tire shop over torqued all 8 lugs and i lost a wheel doing the break in drive for my new tires

coming up on the anniversary of that episode come to think of it

anyone know the arts number for those axl u joints...not finding anything but front driveline which i already did about a year ago in my searches

Front axle u-joints for your '03 are F81Z-3249-AA's

That's extremely nice of you! I already ordered one and had them put the 'hold' on my card for the Core until I send it in. When I go to do the rest I'll shoot you a message.

I ordered via Amazon a "tall" T40 and T45 Torx socket and a "short" T30 socket. Is there anything else I might need? I have the 12mm Allen for the Standpipe.

Truck is an Early 2006.

Due to dropping $2.5K on the truck already and having a 4 month old daughter, I'll likely have to do the one dead one and then knock-out another one here and there as $ permits.

Is there any "OMG Don't Do That!" reasons why I shouldn't do them 1 at a time as $ permits?

No need to mess with the shroud at all. And removing the stator isnt hard, but if u have the factory fan clutch, then you will need to figure out new mounting for the wiring. Good thing is your tensioner is factory. From the angle of your pic, cup that pulley closest to you with your hand, then feel along the bottom of the tensioner, should feel it. Unless its missing. You can break some of the fins off the stator if needed then use a serpentine belt tool. Its skinnier than a breaker bar. May even be able to pull enough slack to just pop it off the alt pulley. I think maybe @john galt mentioned having to do that at one point. Or two. Good luck with it. I hate having to do anything with the belt on the 04.
