Page 234 in the owners manual, under footnotes for pressing the traction control button more than once there are descriptions of the changes made to the system.

richc22aa After towing, my gauges defaulted to the 'Towing Screen', I had to manually change to the fuel economy screen I typically run on.
To keep this from occurring, I went to the 'Towing Screen' and switched to 'no active trailer', after that my screen would default to the economy screen I typically used.

6.7Scorpion Gauges don't turn red. I don't think it changes and shift points or anything like the normal/tow haul/sport the functions on the half tons, ,I think just the traction control allows a little more slip before it engages

Sport mode reduces the sensitivity of the traction control system... if you are in a slippery situation, you need to be able to slip a bit, but do not want to disable traction control, there are options...

racing trucks? cars? go carts, horses, bicycles, semis... the list is endless, if it has legs or wheels it has been raced..why? Possibly testosterone? I will stop now.... before I promote Ageless Male supplements...

Rocweiller Why not? Had my 08 spartan tuned and ran around on the 250 hp tune. Those 4 tons hauled ***. Found it I should say noticed the button.

Agreed. I am perplexed why you would want a mode where you start slinging around 8K lbs around like a sports car. It's a truck.

cletusjermal Is it me or is sport mode in a 3-4 ton pick up questionable. Why try to race a 60-80K truck. Why not just get a comperable priced Z06 vett or something
