No doubt, BFGs are the outstanding tire for 1/2 ton trucks. They aren't **** for 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. I know the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLTs are the hottest **** since sliced bread on Ram 2500s/3500s due to their tread life, warranty and on-road performance. Hybrids are like any other tires, pros and cons, pick your poison depending on how much you off-road compared to highway driving. I have heard good things about the Toyo AT II's and may have to give them a shot.

I have MT on my F250. Same, rock hard tread. I have 30k on them with 8-9/32 left

I run the master craft version (technically a cooper) and get about 60k out a set. One ton that tows a lot. Real happy, getting a new set soon, plus it's hard to beat 600 bucks for a set of 285/65/16's

gypsees DON'T get the Goodyear Wrangler. It's a Kevlar tire and I've had a hard time getting a set that is actually round!

Definitely won't buy them again!!!!
This doesn't surprise me. Coming from a Ram 2500 Cummins, no one ran BFG AT KO2's because they were worn down in 20k miles. I was hoping with the lighter truck (f250 vs 2500) that they would hold up because they are a great tire for 1/2 tons..
