Anti-Medic Today, I added the tailgate dampener and lock. Tailgate opens in a controlled manner and fairly quick. Happy with buying the dampener. The tail gate lock meh. It’s all plastic and cheap looking for the price paid.

Anti-Medic I added OEM style lights to my bed. Order the factory harness and switch then activated it with FORScan. Very happy with the install. I also tied my led light on the topper to it.

G8orFord It's actually been a few days now, but I got some new tires. After 75k miles, I decided the OEM Michelins were good enough for the next go round too.

Alberta Advantage Got the truck up in the air to start the FASS install and noticed I have a vacuum issue with my Titan Tank. It’s starting to suck in by the strap. Hoping it’s just the vent tube check valve being clogged but the tank isn’t that old. Really don’t want to have to drop the tank every 8-9 months to clean out the vents.

Isn’t the sump supposed to be used instead of the factory pick up tube and not in addition to? Isn’t that the whole purpose of using the sump? S&B tank looks nice. I’ve been very happy with their cold air intakes over the years. Their tank wasn’t released when I pulled the trigger on the Titan tank.

When I called Titan to ask about their warranty with regards to installing a FASS system and a sump, they said it was no problem with their warranty and to only drill one hole in the tank for the sump. They never mentioned needing an upgraded vent kit so you’re probably right saying it’s only for ‘11-‘16 models.

Titan fuel tank venting issues.

• Some customers will experience consistent loss of prime when they have an after market Titan fuel tank installed.

• Symptom: FASS is losing prime with an after market Titan fuel tank, tank pulls an internal vacuum.

• Cause: The OEM fuel tank vent was not designed for a larger capacity fuel tank, this created an issue as there is an inability to equalize internal tank pressure with ambient pressure.

• Resolution: Titan offers an upgraded vent kit, this can be ordered through Titan and must be installed to correct this issue.
