hansel Finished the water pump job on the dually, needed a new lower hose since I added the elbow and it's been raining, but so far so good until the next project.

Ordered parts

Check engine light has been on for a long time for right bank issues. Ordered glow plugs, harnesses, valve cover gaskets, & injector o-rings. See what happens next week when I get them.

With as little as I drive the truck, it's going to take a LONG time to get some dirt on it. I'm just glad that it went fairly smooth, no real headache.

JustinOOO9 plugged the truck in today. I don't drive the truck a whole lot in winter when they are spraying the de-cing fluid. I have had excellent results with fluid-film/wool wax but id rather a little corolla take the rust anyday hahaha. We are nearly done with the kitchen remodel then going to the master bath next. Truck has been a good tow pig with lots of patience lol.

This summer going to be doing more camping and traveling.

Also for anyone interested a couple of minor product reviews:

The newer rotella t6 15w-40 full synthetic oil in winter. It is defiantly the oil for me. My truck did not like the conventional 15w-40 at -25 but, the t6 5w-40 was being burned up way quicker than I liked so took a shot and found the sweet spot. back to my usual 1-1.5 quarts added in 5k miles and still a dramatic improvement in cold weather operation. Also Its way more available now. When I first learned of it, it was hard to find anywhere but that's changed thankfully. I thought about trying an experiment with the rotella t5 synthetic blend 15w-40 but its not much less than full just for funzies who knows.

NOCO gen1 onboard 4amp battery charger/maintainer- only been a few months but its definitely waterproof/shockproof and hasn't melted anything lol. I still have and use a battery tender product that I bought from an org member but had trouble mounting it on board so its been a great back up for the side by side and tractors. Overal both brands do what they say they will.

Wood's Powerstroke I actually drove my truck this past weekend. The wife and I drove Clifford over 100 miles round trip to get a recliner. Man, I love my truck. New recliner is pretty good, too

Yes, it's a pull thru but it was kinda horseshoe shaped, made for unhooking at a angle. It's a local State Park called Don Carter, it's fairly new 5-6 years old.

The old one lasted a bit over 2 years. Don't know if that's good or not. Maybe next time, when I suspect it's going, I should research starters.

Recommendations?
Everywhere I've read says Denso starters are the way to go for strength and durability. [email protected] sells them. They are a bit pricey, but it's not something I want to do every couple years if you know what I mean.
