drz400smoto we have twins lol the 6" miters is what i am looking at but there is one thing holding me back. because i have a tool box and a short bed i am scared i wont have enough clearance for the gooseneck cattle trailer but i guess ill just take the tool box off when i haul it cuz i don't really hook up to it al the time
and where did you get your stacks from and how much the cheapest kit i have found for the 6" miter is 600
i have really been kicking myself in the *** for not buying my buddies stacks for $300 but my bud bought them for his 97 psd
I got my stacks from farmboydiesel, another member/vendor on the site. His shop sells out of north carolina and it cost me around $550 shipped to Colorado. The stacks are made by powerflow and I have been very happy with them so far. So talk to farmboydiesel and he should be able to work out a deal with you.
Just wondering how the state inspection looks at stacks. It was always my understanding as long as the exhaust exited past the passenger compartment. Stacks I dont know. I know if you know a guy who knows a guy whos uncle has a place yada, yada, yada, anything can get a sticker. I was just wondering how the law looks at it.
This actually depends on your state. In Ohio, we have counties with emmision checks, and counties without! I always suggest looking into your counties emmision and exhaust laws. I know in PA, you have to have a guard on the stacks, just learned that last week.
JIMCO1958: from my understanding if you don't act stupid around them they wont say nothing
but i am not 100% sure i am goin to check on that before i get mine too just to be safe.
i like the look of one single stack on the passenger side. pwrstrokinrebel what size and type of tire is on your truck and do you have a lift to clear them
