    I have never had one of these 6.0 engines apart. What could hit a glow plug enough to physically damage it. Norm

    can you replace rocker arm on 6.0 without special tools oly one rocker

    Mike, Finally got the engine back together tonight. Primed everything using the male end of the yellow wire with the green stripe as you had pointed out with the key off. I did this in several 20 to 30 second cycles allowing my starter to cool down between cycles . Then I jumped in and started it with the key. It fired right up and I ran it for about a half hour checking for leaks etc. Tomorow night i will take it out for a test drive and see how it is too late tonight. Gotta get up too early.

    Hope you can help. I'm stumped.
    WAs trying to figure out why my injectors go out when I tow my trailer. Installed a fuel pressure gauge and got 40psi. Replaced pump and filters. Still reading 40psi. In fact it seems to dip easier to 35psi with wot now than before. Any suggestions?

    Feel like sharing some insight on EOT sensor resistance range? I am determined to install a digital gauge (I want to run gauges rather than a permanent plug OBD monitor) for the EOT. Since the factory EOT is a themistor that reduces voltage as oil temp increases, and it is a simple two wire sensor, and voltage is voltage, I need to know if you think I will have any issues with tapping into the factory wiring for my signal? Have you, or anyone you know of, tried this with any success? I am waiting on Autometer to confirm that their two wire sending units function the same and what their resistance range is. Any help is appreciated.

    Hey Chan,Just wondering if you have ever seen a problem with IDM on 96 F250 sparking to fender.Runs bad mounted and good unmounted.New vc and inj harnesses and 1 new inj.

    m-chan68 sorry to bother you but dont know who else to ask my mechanic is stumped also. anyhow i have a 2003 f250 6.0 motor went south so i put a 2004 in that was supposed to be good it wasnt replaced hpop, ipr, icp, cmp/ckp, ficm, couple, injectors, and wiring harness still at a good crank with no start. fuel psi=55, oil pressure=1550, crank speed 160-220, not getting fuel to injectors no sync, no ficm sync, and p2614scrapped rust off block im so lost if you could help that would be great thanks derek [email protected]
