Hello, Just got my truck back from the shop. I usually do my own work but hadnt had the time lately when my truck up and died on me.

The dealership found the problem to be a faulty CMP Sensor. In the process of this of course they found another problem.

The paperwork says quote "Did find system to have excessive cranking periods. Found Check valve faulty in the oil pressure resivior."

Ok all fine and well but they didnt say if its the HP or LP oil pressure. I do plan on calling to find out more but my question is this.

Is it possible to replace only the check valve or do I need to replace the whole pump? I have been unable to find a good manual either on location and good information on my truck other than these types of website. If there is one out there that you would suggest please let me know.

Thanks
