Hey jc, I moved this for you so you will get a little more action on it, there could also be a problem with the grounds to the tank causing the problem, you might want to check that.
Just repaired my fuel guage problem, same thing, stuck on full. It wasn't the fuel sender but the wire connector to the fuel sender was bad. Just replaced the connector and it works fine. If I remember correctly, there was a yellow wire that was corroded badly inside the connector and when I wiggled the harness the yellow wire just popped off. Give it a try, its definately better than replacing a sending unit in the tank although they are a common problem as well.
