Sold my 97 F350 CC 4x4 years ago :crying: and still regret it. Wife said " it's time for a new tow vehicle." WHOO HOO!
I've been kicking tires on 7.3 excursions and 6.0 excursions for a week now. I have a few questions.
1. Is the 6.0 worth the trouble? I like the HP of the stock motor but I'm still leary of the problems. I know what to do to get
the 7.3 up to the same numbers but not sure if I want to go through the time. There are plenty of 7.3 and 6.0 Exs around to choose from bone stock to modded and bulletproofed.
2. What year 6.0 to avoid, if any?
3. Is the 5r100 any better than 4R100? I am familiar with the short comings of the E4OD but the 5R100 is still unknown to me.
