Retired Navy, Work Civil service at Patrick AFB in FL. Drive a2012 F 350 Superduty 4x4 6.7, 76 camaro, 95 jeep wrangle, Harley ultra classic and a Dyna wide glide. Been working on Trucks and cars my whole Navy career and growing up, Dad worked at Mack trucks.

I didn't know that you guys had this. What information do I need to provide you with bud and can this be done using Tapatalk?

My Drivers side mirror is power fold, power telescope. Well the power-fold stopped working, it was making popping noises. tried the WD-40 and re-syncing. I have the mirror off the truck and apart. But How do I get the metal arms seperated so I can slide the plastic triangle trim piece off to gain access to the fold motors to check the gears?? I have both glasses out, front and rear plastic covers off and both of the plastic arm covers off, top and bottom. The metal arms are still attached to the mirror (glass) end which doesn't let me slide the traingle trim off.
