Prospective Owner

Howdy from Texas. I currently have a ‘17 Half ton Silverado LTZ but getting a 5th wheel soon so I’ll need somethin a little bigger to tow. Anyhow, looking to keep the price below $25k. I’m really not sure how often or how far we’ll be using the trailer but I want something reliable and comfortable.
Looking at lower mileage/nicer package 6.0’s or higher mileage/lesser package 6.7’s. If it were you, which would you go with. I’m also a little worried about missing all of the nice things my truck has now. i.e remote start, touch screen, auto air conditioning.

I am mechanical enough to be dangerous so I would be able to work on the 6.0 Short of the more extensive repairs.

6.7 no question. You should be able to get high trim level trucks with 200k +miles for your price range

200k seems like it’s pushing it. Was feeling safer about 100-120.

Ive seen the 6.7 go for under 20 when I was shopping for my 6.0 with low 100k mileage, and nicely trimmed. Sounds like youd prefer a newer model with more creature comforts.
