First time Stroke Owner
Hey Guys,
Been a diesel owner for 10 years or so. Always owned Cummins trucks until purchasing a new 2017 F350 powerstroke today. I did my due diligence and gave a completely unbiased testing / comparison to all of the big 3 diesels over the past week. I must say, I was blown away by the refinement and package that the new SDs presented. I'm never one to be biased towards any brand, or bash anyone else, but the SD just felt like a real "truck" to me. It had the interior amenities of a luxury truck, the heavy duty and robust feeling of a real puller, combined with an incredible amount of functional options such as tow package, gooseneck, plow package, cameras, power mirrors, etc.
Very excited to see what this truck can do. I will add that this is my first DEF truck and I know the MPG out of the gate is much improved over the DPF only trucks. I deleted my last one and never looked back and the cummins got me to 150,000 miles without ever needing anything other than routine maintenance such as fluids / filters.
Hopefully this one proves to be just as reliable!
