Is the 6.0 deleted?

My boss's service truck is an early 04 F350 single wheel truck with a 6.0 and I was told by a friend that it has been deleted. How do I tell? I took some pictures of where I think the EGR cooler would have been but I don't see it there. I'll post the pictures so maybe someone can help. Egr valve is still there, but as far as I can tell the cooler is not, but maybe I missed it because I've never looked at a 6.0 before now

You are correct - the EGR cooler has been deleted. The "J" shaped tube in your 2nd picture confirms it.

On a side note - that is not an OEM oil filter cap. You need to get one from a Ford dealer and make sure you put an OEM filter in there. if not, the system won't function as intended, and you will end up having issues down the road.

Thank you for confirming that this truck is in fact deleted. What sort of problems will the current oil filter cause? As far as i know its been run with this type of filter since he bought the truck when it had 120k miles on it. It now has almost 270k
