2003 6.0l no hot start

2003 6.0l bulletproffed powerstroke. No hot start, replaced ipr and icp, looking for other solutions that hopefully aren't very invasive. Has also had a HPOP recently. Builds oil pressure when cranking on cold start and will start(obviously), doesn't show oil pressure building when cranking when hot. Bad lPOP possibly?

Need to get a gauge on there to be sure, the oil sender is just a switch(7psi) -- so the oil gauge is basically a glorified idiot light

You could pull the pressure regulator and check to see if the piston moves freely(near the crank pulley)

In my defense, I was unsupervised

General note:
For all those wanting a premium silicone sealer Kubota 70000-73764 is the best your gonna find. This is a hybrid gray silicone that uses solvent rather than acid to start the curing reaction, this makes it safe for aluminum and and any surface that involves coolant.

Also to add that I pulled the oil filter and cranked on it and the filter reservoir does fill when cranking if that makes a difference

And would that oil pump valve piston cause only hot start failure?

If it start fine cold but doesn’t when hot this usually ends up being a leak somewhere in hpoil system. Run an air test.
