Exhaust

I would like to replace the stock mufflers on my 2006 Ford F-250 Super Duty Lariat. Is Gibson a good option? I am considering their extreme dual exhaust.

I don't think I've heard a bad thing abut any exhaust brand really...I mean you might hear fitment is better on some thing others, but they all get the job done.....now I will say that Gibson is not the most popular brand on most of the forums, but that doesn't mean it isn't any good....

This is one area that you won't find to many guys praising OEM... Any 4" straight pipe kit will do, personally I like where the MBRP tailpipe exits(the reason I bought it).

metalgear, you can't go wrong with Gibson exhaust. his Gibson exhaust system makes maximum low end power, which is best for towing, general performance and increased fuel economy, with a powerful, aggressive exhaust tone. You can check this comparison and find all the benefits for your truck: Gibson - Exhaust Types

I personally like the sound of MBRP exhaust. MBRP also has straight pipes so you can remove the muffler if you want.

Have no personal experience with Gibson but heard good compliments about them from couple of guys here. Besides it has good rumble sound.
