Buy 2020 Tremor or wait for interior update?

Hey Guys new to the forum as I am thinking about getting rid of my 2010 F350 Harley Davidson I bought brand new back in 2009 for the 2020 Platinum Tremor 6.7L. I don't want to come off as "that guy" who has to have the latest and greatest but when I'm looking at a 87k msrp I plan on having it for 10 years or so. To make a long story short I have the opportunity to get a 2020 Plat Tremor 6.7L with 87k MSRP for 80k...Million dollar question, wait tell 2021 for an interior update or say screw it and buy it now? Any opinions are appreciated.

Current rig - 2010 Ford F350 Harley Davidson crew cab 8ft box diesel fully loaded with Warn winch, few inch lift, 35's and supporting bolt on performance mods with 80k miles and excellent shape. I did have the EGR delete done and with all the other recommended mods/servicing as well for what its worth...

I think you should hold off a year. That new transmission scares me. Just read about a class action against the F150's due to that (different) 10-speed, and there's already one guy here posting about limp mode on a 2020...

If I’m reading this right:

Dude in PA filed suit and law firm hopes to make it class action so they can pocket all the money from people who don’t respond to the post cards they send out.

I would bet you will wait longer for the interior to be updated. Flip a coin.....

Yeah it's a little sketch, but the bottom line is that there do appear to be many others with the issue. My ol lady drives a 2018 F150 with the 10-speed and I'm not a fan. Sometimes it does bang into gear and downshifts aren't that smooth...

Different transmission from the superduty's, but I don't have a ton of confidence yet.

The 10 in our 19 Raptor is Butter. Love that the ten speed allows different drive modes. The Rap gets better mileage than our non-HO 3.5, even with my wide grin as I hammer the pedal and drift sideways down local roads.

I might be lucky with it, but man it is a blast.

Pop in law loves his 20 with the 10. But he hasn’t been able to tow yet. I’m anxious to see what it can do.

I’ll admit, I will most likely wait for the new interior. I will be Curious to see if the super duty 10 gets software updates as it evolves.

That is a beautiful truck
Life is to short enjoy it while you still can
If it wasn't for the wife wanting an apartment on wheels I would have got the tremor without a doubt

Thanks for the opinions, I figure with the new GM off road line Ford might be forced to do upgrades quick like they already did with offering a winch from the factory. But then again as the old saying goes “if your always waiting for the next best thing, you’ll find yourself waiting forever”

2021 F150 is tagged for a new interior and I'm sure they will have a NAV screen to compete with the RAM 12" option. Since the cabs are shared now I'm sure the Superduty will be updated too. I'm waiting for that very reason.
