I’m really curious to see how the new 10 speed TQ shift trans does towing, daily driven, and long term. I know they have been running them in the f150s for a while now so I’m curious to see how it does with all that HP and TQ hauling some serious wait!
It only makes sense IMO there’s a reason why big rigs have so many gears you need a lot of gears just to get the loads moving, them a solid TQ converter to lock everything up and keep it solid, interested in hearing feedback once some members get there’s and use it for towing and daily driving

For the time being, I'll just limp along in my 2018 F-350 DRW Platinum and hope the 450 hp and 935 lb-ft torque can continue to pull my 20,000 lb. 5th wheel.

The new 1050 lb-ft of torque is impressive but I'm more interested in that 10-speed TQ auto transmission and what a difference that will make.

FORD rules again...........

I’m in the same boat. My current truck tows my 16k 5th wheel just fine. But I’m interested in upgrading once the 10 speed proves itself for a year. I’m eyeing ordering a 2021 next year.

Well I get to see what a F450 looks like in blue. I ordered an XL so of course it will be less fancy. Gorgeous trucks.

Knowing the gears in that transmission would be nice. Real happy that I held off and did not lung at a 2019. I just need to wait for the months to pass and I order what I want
