@Fishsizzle : Get some fill-ups done by hand calculation.

Ford does some good testing, just want to see the final products getting miles under them.

How long between job 1 and job 2? I remember the 6.4s having radiator pipe issues and a few other things between jobs.

It used to be like 4-5 months. That was when Ford would have new model year trucks coming out in August/September or so. Now it seems they are putting them out closer to the actual calendar year for the model year truck being produced. Not to mention the Job 2 was something where Ford was making minor tweaks in the production. So it may or may not even happen.

As I posted above you can see the projected 2020 production schedule is not starting until November. So I would expect actual 2020 trucks might be on lots by 01 December. Given that to be true I would say Job 2 may not happen until later in 2020 if at all for the 2020 trucks. If true Ford could slide "improvements" into the next year...2021 trucks.

Think about the differences between in the 11-16 trucks year-to-year. Some minor stuff, some bigger stuff. Seems as the model year releases are later to help "prevent" the Job 2 production updates, just to move the improvements to the newer model year.

That’s kinda what I’m worried about. Looking at 2020, but worried Ford will do what the did on the 17/18.

The 17 were ginnies and the 18’s got new goodies (trq mgmt)

So will guess and see what comes out.

2020 6.7 gets a list of upgrades... New cylinder heads, new injection system (i am guessing the Denso system like the LP5). Revised intake manifolds, revised cooling, revised oiling system, steel pistons to with stand higher pressures, longer rods to reduce rod angle....

I will be rolling the dice and jumping in first for a 450.

Awesome info. Seems the more we dig, the more we see it's not just a new grill and lights.

How true. I was just told by my dealership that my 2017 is a buy back candidate. Ford can't repair the electrical gremlins.

Sounds like an opportunity to upgrade...

Ford contacted me today. Told me that my truck doesn't meet Lemon Law requirements because its an F350 and its GVW is too high. (Its a short bed single rear wheel F350)
She admits that the dealership's general manager, the Technician working on the truck and the field service engineer are all on my side as they cannot repair the problem and its a real safety hazard.
She's going to inquire and see if they will make a waiver and call me back tomorrow with their response.
I hate it, but it sounds like its time to Lawyer up.
