PTO Provision Transmission

So I have the Live-drive PTO for my 19 F450, and i am wondering if i can hook a Hydraulic Winch up to it. Is this a possibility?

I think the issue would be finding the correct pump that fits the PTO output and is rated as such.

It might be easier to plumb the winch into the power steering system. I believe Mike Marker winches are set up this way.

Yeah, that's the way MM is. I just figured a Hydro winch would be a good use of the system

To connect your PTO provision to the hydraulic winch you'd need a PTO and pump. (PTO would drive the pump, the pump would provide fluid power to your winch).

On our F550 w/ PTO provision, we have a Muncie PTO connected to the transmission PTO point, then a Muncie hydraulic pump connects to the PTO and has hydraulic fluid ports. In essence, we are running the PTO to provide power to the hydraulic pump, which provides hydraulic fluid power to our two hydraulic pumps on the rig. These pumps allow us to pump & dispense oils to our customers. We used the factory PTO pre-wiring to the factory upfitter switch so we can engage/disengage the PTO.

We used the below part numbers (not saying these are for your application, just using as reference for you).

PUMP: PH1 11 02ASRLM
PTO: FR6Q F1209 63QX

My Current Fords:
2018 F350 6.7L CCLB DRW Limited
2017 F550 6.7L CCLB DRW XL
