Cab lights not working after DRL update @ dealership

So my F350 did not come from the factory with cab lights. I had Ford install them (Recon lights) after the fact. I brought my truck in today because a TPMS sensor failed and they replaced it. They told me after that there was a recall/update reference the Daytime Running Lights. Long story short. I noticed shortly after the update that the cab lights are not working at all. I brought it back to the dealer and they looked at it and said they may need my truck for a few days to figure it out. Any ideas?

Cab lights won’t come on when day time running lights are on. They should only come on when the headlights are on.

The DRL update is to make the C lights dimmer when the headlights are on. I assume since the DRLs are now dimmer when the headlights are on, your cab lights aren’t getting enough power to turn on. I assume they tied the cab lights into the DRLs

Yes. They wired the cab lights to come on when I turn on the daytime running lights.

Normally, that would be correct. But when they installed the cab lights, they wired them to the drl so they came on when I turned the drl on.
