KC Turbo 6.0 to 6.7

I just spoke with KC Turbos to inquire about kits for my 2019 6.7. They said sometime in January, they are releasing a turbo for the 6.7 that is essentially the same as the turbo from the 6.0. It will be a direct fit and will have that 6.0 whistle to it. Just thought id let y'all know. Price should be around $2500.

What is the problem with the 6.7 turbo? Puts out 2x the power of 6.0 so seems like a step back

I would say that the discussion isn't a direct quote from KC. We all know KC has been doing great things for the community, they get that much credit up front. I for one welcome a 6.7L turbo that sings like the ol' 6.0L ten blades. KC gave plenty of good data for their drop in compressor wheel for the 6.7L and their modded/built 6.7L turbos to show they are nothing like the OEM 6.0L turbo.

Nothing is wrong with the 6.7 turbo. I was simply putting the info out there. Like Heavy stated, many miss the sound the 6.0 turbo put out. KC has designed a turbo that I'm confident will not lack in power but have that 6.0 whistle to it.
