2017 platinum may trade to 2019 lariat sport

I am thinking of trading my 2017 platinum f350 cclb srw, for the same configuration in a 2019 lariat sport. My platinum is black and I am tired of fighting waterspots, the lariat sport is the ruby red and I really like that color. I realize it will be some work to keep it clean but no where near as bad as black. I am kinda partial to the sport models as well, I had a 2003 cclb in sonic blue.
I think the only options I'm going to lose are the massage seats and the power running boards. Everything else is pretty much the same. What differences are there in the engine? 2017 to a 2019?

I have the Ruby Red 2019 Lariat Ultimate and love it. As for engine differences, I didn't think there were many between 2017 and 2019. 2020 has a list of changes that seem to be related around thermal efficiency considerations and higher horsepower/torque numbers.

I think it's only 10 hp or so and about the same on torque. How does the [email protected] sound system compare?

My brother as a 2019 platinum and the B&O sound system is pretty good. We test drive a 2018 with the Sony system and it isnít as good as the B&O.

B&O is pretty solid, I enjoy it. Sounds similar to my infinity speakers I upgraded in my 2018 Ram. B&O sounds better still.

The B and O in my 19 sounds much cleaner then the Sony in my 16. The sub hits deeper notes in the B and O. The only thing I don't like about the B and O is that it seems to modulate the sub output too much when you turn the volume up and this is after disabling the speed adjusted volume control feature.

May have to upgrade the sub to the JL Audio 13.5 setup.

Well I can only compare the B&O to my other vehicles. I think the B&O is pretty good and I would rate it on par with the Harman/Kardon in my wife's Benz GL-350 Blue. I run it in surround mode with my own tunes on USB. I rarely have to go above #5 on the dial and it's jammin'. I regularly listen to heavy rock and metal, with the occasional oldies tune from the 80's. Gotta toss some Journey, Def Leppard, and Bad Company in the mix! ;-)
