Graduated up to the Super Duty

Well, after years of driving F150s, I'm in a 2019 F250SD Lariat. And it feels good. Time to start modding....

Any suggestions?

I'm not too thrilled with the stance of the truck and the terrible headlights. I think the next MOD will be to lower the rear 2 inches and replace the halogen headlights with HIDs or LEDs. Anyone else done this and what was your experience?

Since I could not transfer my tag in my state to the truck, I modded it and put it on the front.

Why not level it if you don't like the stance?

Level it and throw some 35s on it. I wouldn't lower the rear, unless you don't plan on towing.

I'm actually starting to get used to it. But I'm still testing. I got the B&W Tow & Stow hitch and connected my 18' Aluma 7818 to it. The truck sat down about 1" with the trailer empty. Even with me standing on it (guessing around 350+ lbs on the tongue), it stayed where it was. Next step is to load up 3000 lbs and see where it sits. If it looks OK, I'm going to leave it as-is and focus on mileage increasing mods.

I'll be towing so that MOD is on-hold.

As for the headlights, I've actually already fixed that issue. Swapped the stock halogens with a set of BeamTech H13 Hi/Lo LEDs. WOW what a difference!!!!

1st pic is daylight comparison. Driver is stock; passenger is LED.
2nd pic is night time angle view.
3rd is on the road. The low beam focus point is exactly the same as the halogens except about 4x brighter.
4th is on the road. Same results and the beam pattern is pretty flat.

I did lower them a little as I was getting some on-coming traffic flashing. High-beams are sick!! I don't think I will ever use them.

Note that the BeamTech's are the 6500k temp, 10k lumen CSP with active cooling fans. I've had them for over a month and like them a lot. The one and only trip I did with the stock halogens had me asking my wife "Are the headlights even on?" I had ALL the headlights on (including driving lights) and it was still hard to see the road. Don't have that issue anymore...

I hated my stock halogens on my 16 when I had it.

Those lights that you installed look good and definitely have more light output.
