Rear 4 link. Kelderman?

is anyone running the Kelderman rear 4 link kit? I just took ownership of a 2019 F450 platinum and i'm considering building a rear 4 link kit on bags.

I'm curious if anyone is running one and how they like the ride over stock.

Tow or show? I’d think you’d be haulin if you got a 450 but then you said platinum and kelderman so im thinking show. No way I’d heavy haul on kelderman setup

Why not? Just curious as I don’t have anywhere near the cash to foot kelderman, or a 450 at the moment

Why wouldn't you tow with one? I plan on towing with this it is definitely NOT a show truck. I'm looking for ride improvement and towing capability.

I'm a few months away from designing the kit. but i'm going to start to look into what sleeve bags will handle the weight.

These trucks were designed by ford to tow and thoroughly tested. Going to a complete 4 link rear is entirely different and now your putting all your trust in the aftermarket engineering? All the link mounts are clamp mounted to the axle, Iím not towing heavy with all those re-engineered parts. And though Iím in the minority I donít like air bags period. Though there is plenty of applications to show they are effective, in sticking with leaf springs out back.

Any system that allows height adjustability like kelderman or the new any-level lifts are going to give up something in other areas right? You can understand this theory? Ying and yang lol. With all those moving points and flexible pivots your giving up strength and increase failure points. Towing heaving such a failure could be deadly.

Are you serious? Airbags are the cats meow? Wow we are from different worlds. While airbags have been around a long time and found a few niches I dare say they are not the cats meow of any suspension system. Now air shocks are a different story and they are increasing in popularity but that is a whole other topic

I wouldn't want a 4 link for towing either, more moving parts that can fail, leaf springs are the best setup for towing.

Iím not a fan of towing with bags and really not a fan of having the bags be the primary suspension let alone supplements. But thatís just me. If you go this route please do post a build thread and some follow up posts how it tows ect. I just did a 100 mile off road trip along western rim of lake Powell with 4K camper in bed of mine. I adjust my Fox DSC 2.5s to full firm with the camper, that firms up the sway but on Airbags as a primarily suspension youíd have to firm them up so stiff to prevent sway, then full stiff comes with full ride height, no thanks. Keep up posted though cause either way you truck will be a looker. Can check some of my trip pics at IG - jetjock15
