Huh? It looks more useful than the factory step that pulls out of my tailgate. Now THAT turned out to be a waste of money for me.

Amazon reviews seem solid. Hows it working for you so far?

A guy I work with has the Amp step on his Ram. That was the direction I was going but he said he's missed the step a couple of times as his doesn't stick out that far from the bumper. Maybe it's the way he installed it? Not sure. I'll try this out and if I don't care for it i'll try something else out.

So far it has worked just fine. Seems solid and pretty easy to use. I used it yesterday to load and unload the dog's crate so I could take him to the Vet. Certainly made getting into and out of the back of the truck easier.
I've broken both my ankles and torn the acl in my left knee so i'm not as nimble as I once was. The jumping out of the back of the truck is a no go for my knee. The Army is hard on bodies.

I haven’t missed my step yet. 😂

I get the not wanting to jump out of a truck , bad back.

Thanks for your service and the feedback. I'll have to put this on my list of upgrades.

Hey Warboar, it's been a little over a month since you installed the tailgate ladder; how's it holding up, do you still like it, anything you don't like about it???

Yep still working just fine. Have used it quite a bit to get stuff in and out of the back of the truck. Loaded up the quad to take it in for service and it sure beat walking down the ladder ramps.
