So Ford must really want to see me in a new 2019. I'd have to update my membership to Jenny Craig again....LOL

The way I last understood these types of offers is it's "as if cash". Meaning it's used as cash towards the purchase however that applies to my deal. So if I was upside down $3k on the trade this would make that $0, and break even. Or just use it to bring down the overall purchase price by $3k. So you could say it covers the sales tax...

If I go this route it will be an ordered truck, not a lot truck.

I did see a happy note about an F350. The load sticker showed a 3088 load capacity for the 2019 F350 SRW Platinum.

So the issue becomes: Order up, play nice, stay stock.

Or: Order up, go to Jenny Craig.

I'm just not sure now about the aftermarket support being around much longer. Not to mention if I stay stock...why not wait for the 2020's and get one late next year.

Same boat, got the 3K email along with a detailed description of my truck with a “click to see offer”

They must want 19s gone by the time 20s roll out. A lot of people like myself must be holding back waiting for 20s

All the dealerships are doing this. I would get them on a Regular basis for my Ram 2500. My coworker got the same offer from Chevy on his Camaro. Offered cash and said he could get the same trim level as his car and with the cash offer his payments would change by a minimal amount as long as his credit was good.

My brother in-law owns Dodge, Ram, and GMC dealerships and he said even though the economy is doing well, he isn't selling as many cars as he once did. People just aren't rushing out to jump into debt like they once did.

Paying cash for an "asset" that depreciates over time is dumb, Yes, business owners can write off some things and get their bottom line better. Personal buyers are better off using other people's money at the best rate possible.
