Our 2017 DRW F350 doesn't sag anything like our old 2004 DRW F350 when hooked to our 5er. However, I still added air bags to help keep it level. Run 26psi in the bags and she runs level as can be and still a good ride for the passengers (unless I'm on I-95 in SC where the highway stinks).

Yea im going to order the f350. Was almost considering a short bed but i dont think the tailgate will close with my atv in the bed. And my 5er is older so the front is square, i wont have the turning ability with the short bed that ill have with the long bed. F350 long bed is what i have now and what i was planning to order, i got thrown off because i test drove a 250 short bed last night lol

So the tailgate release is a button? No handle? I tried like hell to open the tailgaye on the test truck. Unlocked the truck with the key fob and on the driver door and pushed the button on the tailgate and you could hear it unltch but wouldnt open

If you get the 250 with the camper package it comes with the 350 rear springs, and 5600# front springs which could be higher than some 350s. Also a rear sway bar. All for quite a bit less money.

I think you can get all that without the heavier rear axle.

Worth looking into...
