Thoughts on extended length tube steps

Hey Guys. I'm new here. I just sold my 2003 Duramax and crazy to say it, but just bought (still waiting on delivery) a 2018 F350 CCLB SRW 6.7L. I was wondering what your thoughts were on the factory extended length tube steps that are available. I have contemplated going aftermarket wheel to wheel steps, but am concerned about potential dissimilar metal corrosion from the aftermarket hardware. I heard that Ford has a "special coating" on all of its bolts penetrating the aluminum body, but not sure if there is any truth to this. Any thoughts on the steps/fastening hardware?

I have these. I like them. They are nice and sturdy. The extended ones make it easy to get into the bed. I have never heard that about the fasteners but it makes sense. Here are some pics of the fasteners. I can’t tell any difference just by looking at them.
