Yikes! I have a 13 KR and would love to upgrade but that's insane.

I can get $5k discount off MSRP for an all cash/no trade in deal, but that will still put me back to $91.3k. We'll see how much more (if anything at all) than $5k I might be able to negotiate off MSRP, but it sounds like my dealer won't budge off of $91.3k. At this point, I'm thinking I will order a 2018 F-350, and get the new model. I'm budgeting $95k, as I doubt I will be able to deal much (no $5k off of list!) on a new model 2018, once they are actually available. I really don't want the previous year model (2017), which will soon be the case. Time flies!
Find a dealer that will custom order for you. Ought to be able to get one right around invoice rather than msrp. Want to see what invoice is approx, go to Kelly blue book, do the build and price, it will give you invoice and msrp. I got mine for $600 less than invoice, and I kept all the incentives.

Your dealer is ripping you off. You should be around the $70k range

Edit, you should be in the mid to high 70s before tax and tags, missed the platinum in your order. Should be less than 70 for fully loaded lariat. Mine was 68k. Almost every option, lariat 250, that was BEFORE incentives and before tax. Otd is right at 72.5 with 8 year warranty. That's with 8% tax and $805 tags.

I had that warranty on my 2014. If its the same one that some Ford dealers are using, you need to be sure to follow the maintenance schedule really close or they'll deny it. My research of the company showed that they did stand behind the vehicles that did so.

Congrats on the new truck. Did you keep the old one?

It's going to be like going from a Model T to a GT40. In 2002 we were amazed by cupholders and key fobs that unlocked the doors. Things sure have changed.

Went and looked at this one today. Such an awesome color and hard to find in the 8' bed. couldn't believe the sticker price for an XLT($63k). The salesman was like did you want to buy it? I asked him if he could do $50k out the door? he was like maybe!. I laughed and asked you really think the sales manager is going to knock $13k+ off the sticker?! he said no probably not.

Yeah, I love my 02 and how easy it is to work on and the simplicity of how it works and runs but driving the new one was night and day difference in its comfort and power.
