They have 1.5 cubic feet of space. And are built very well. No drilling into the bed required. Brackets are very thick and look like they will hold the weight.
Thanks for posting those pictures. Those boxes are EXACTLY what I've been looking for. I didn't know that Ford made them until now. Would you mind me asking how much they are, and can you but just one or are they sold in sets?

You can buy them separately. Here are the installation instructions to help clear up how they install

30" BlackOak Led
Spray in liner
Western plow 8.5'

Light bar is mounted using factory bolts and requires no vehicle modification.
Prototype mounts are a little rough. The finals will be made of stainless and be lower profile.

The aluminum body is going to be "the berries" for a plow truck, no rust, no worries!!!

I'm looking for them too. I found this one on Amazon for $188.98. It looks identical to the ones shown above but it doesn't have the Ford emblem on the side. I imagine that those came from Ford. I'll check at my dealership and see how much they are through them.

Anyone have or planning to install a coolant filter on the high temp circuit? Not sure if these are needed on the 6.7s like they were on the 6.0s.

This is exactly what I'm wanting to do with my '17. I've even looked at the Black Oak LED bars. I had KC highlights on my 2014, but I'm wanting to do a LED light bar for this truck. I really like the idea of mounting directly on top of the bumper vs. a dedicated light mount sticking out in front.

I have a few questions if you don't mind. I'm assuming this is a straight bar on your truck. Any idea as to the fit of the curved 30" bar? Are you attached to the bolts in the back of the bumper? Did you end up having to take the bumper off to do the fab/mounting?
