Good luck with the new truck. I've owned every variant of ford diesels except the 7.3idi and this is easily my favorite.

Any plans with the old grille? I wonder how much these are to ship?

I plan to sell a bunch of parts off of the truck as a "chrome package". Hopefully to someone local. I have the grille, mirror caps, handles, chrome steps, and a set of chrome 20" wheels and tires that are all technically brand new.

I just bought a lariat grill off a Craigslist user. The shipping was off the chart. Heís 5 hrs away and bringing it over in the spring when he comes to do some recreation over here. It was cheaper to buy new and have it shipped from eBay.

Also have a set of Chrome wheels/tires. Probably going to have to let them go cheap. Cannot generate any interest so far at a reasonable price. Going to drop down to get garage space back.

Question. Why not use PlastiDip on the chrome one?

I figure for some folks, a couple cans of PlastiDip might be the cheaper way to go.

InkMing,

How about the chrome exhaust tip section? If your de-chroming your truck I would be happy to exchange with you. That is the only piece of the package I would really like to have.

Kind of. For the towing I usually do a half ton is plenty. I had a 2011 ecoboost f150 for about 4 years. It was a great truck, and honestly felt like a little diesel. But the extra room in the super duty is nice, plus the mpgs are similar, with more power, so we went back.

InkMing,

Are those wires hanging down below your front bumper for your new driving/fog lights? They look to be LED
