These trucks are getting taller all the time. It looks good, but isn't real ergonomic.
At 5'9", I can't reach over into the bed anyway. I have an 'old man's' hook that allows me to maneuver and retrieve anything back there with ease. We do lots of camping with a 32' travel trailer so the topper gives lots of dry storage.

I bought mine.

2017 F450 platinum dually in platinum white. I swear this thing has so many options, it'll probably make breakfast for me.

Congrats on your purchase, I too purchased a white tri coat lariat with the ultra options or whatever. Coming from a limited trd tundra this thing is a real damn truck and has way too many gadgets for me but my little girls love it.. The heated rear seats are very cool for them and the twin moon roof.. This is my first diesel and cant wait to tow my boat into the Tahoe mountains to fish. Ill be keeping this thing for many years very happy with it.

It had been ordered by a guy that backed out of the deal (lost job, divorce). We got lucky.

What'd you pay for it and what part of the country are you in. I'm in Jackson Wy and wondering if it's cheaper and worth it to purchase a new rig down south far away from this vacation ski town.

Sticker was 85 and change. They wouldn't hardly budge on price because as the salesman said "we don't have to." "If you don't buy it today, someone else will tomorrow."

If you don't want a platinum F450, there are deals to be had. If we hadn't found this rig, I was willing to travel for the right deal. Most guys I've heard from are getting between 5-10k off sticker on a nicely optioned lariat.

BTW, I'm up in the wet PNW.
