I bought the adapter set and hardwired it behind the 7pin trailer plug. I'd show you pics but its fugly...so I won't.

But now i still have my plugs and the light is a permanent option.

On a side note, I found the P.O. had installed LED strips under the top bed rails. I didn't even know they were there cuz the wiring is broken. I will be fixing that this weekend so they turn on with the cab lights.

When it comes to mechanics, everything I know is from either breaking it or watching someone else do the same. Then I had to fix it....Is that bad?

I had to replace both windshield washer nozzles as they both broke off. They just kind of crumbled. High heat maybe. I also clay bared the whole truck buffed out some scratches and polished the whole thing. Lots of work but paint looks nicer than when brand new.

Insurance totaled it and he bought it back. He's going to straighten it up enough to get glass back in and use it as a farm truck. He also got a brand new 350.
