I washed it after installing my bakflip G2, Bakbox, Amp bedstep, weather guard vent shades, permanent battery tender connection next to the block heater for easy access to plug in my battery tender, led interior and license plate lights. I have 921 leds on order for the high mount rear lights and reverse lights.

Yeah we were both aware and got 3 years of free complete service thrown in with it and our dealer is about 10 miles from us. Also I got him to throw in 2 wash/detail/ alignment checks for my truck too.

But shes really happy with it coming from a base coupe cobalt.

That's why when we bought my wife's Land Rover which was her dream car, we bought all the coverage to make sure we didn't come out of pocket for anything... Messed up thing is if you buy an extended warranty it can only be transferred through a private sale! If you trade it in the warranty comes back to you and the next owner can't purchase an extended warranty on any Land Rover... So NEVER buy a used Land Rover if it's out of warranty.

Put it off long enough, finally installed a PMF 2.5" Alpha Series kit, 22x10 Fuel Mavericks and 325/50-22 Nitto Trail Grapplers. Also installed LED bulbs inside the truck. Very happy with how well the truck came out...

It looks like you live in a Super Duty neighborhood.
2-Stage paint correction usually refers to the process of stripping the wax from your paint, using a clay bar to remove contaminants from the paint and grabbing 2 varying levels of compounds (most popular are probably Maguires Swirl X and Ultimate compound). 3-stage usually refers to color sanding, then moving onto compounds. Go from most to least abrasive on the compounds, seal it with wax and buff it out.

I only do paint correction if something's really screwed up as every-time you for it, you're cutting into your clear coat and there's only so much there. I wouldn't cut clear coat (use abrasive compounds on a rotary polisher) more than twice on a truck for fear of landing in base coat and needing to re-clear the truck.

That said, I clay and way mine every 3-6 months with great result. Back when i was a car detailer, i would work on high end cars and it's amazing the amount of depth you could pull out of a good paint job. I still have pictures somewhere of a Bentley I did that was black and, after a light cut, polish and buff, was a MIRROR.

Every British car I've ever owned was problematic. (MG and Jaguar) I gave up on owning them 20 years ago after determining that they should come from the factory with a toolbox. It was a very smart choice on the extended warranty. At least you don't have to worry about getting under the "bonnet" (British term for hood)
