Looking at a 2014 advice is greatly appreciated

I am currently looking at a 2014 xl 6.7 4d crew cab. It has 33,000 on it it was a fleet vehicle. It suffered a collision on the driver side bed that has made some stuff a bit odd. And has been a ghost on fords service files even though it was a lease. It’s an xl trim but I think someone just stuck an FX4 bed on it. Is there a way to decipher the vin for example if a vin was 1FT7W2BT1EEA92553 to see if it was an FX4 Carfax doesn’t say.
Also I have read about vin’s getting scrubbed by going to different states. This truck started in Texas where it was leased then got sold in Florida to someone selling in in Virginia. Just wondering if this is a flood vehicle? I have never had any dealings with flood vehicles or know how to spot them for sure.
Hope to learn something from talking to people before I learn the hard way.

The odd thing to me is a fleet vehicle with JUST 33,000 miles. Normally they put a lot of miles on them and then get rid of them, not with low miles.

You should be able to take the VIN to a dealer and the could see if it was equipped as an FX4. Although, you commented it is an XL. Is the FX4 even available in that trim level?

Get an OASIS from Ford, that will tell you what it was built with. How much are they asking? If it's a pretty cheap price, well I think you could put 2 and 2 together.

Anyone can add those. Another good way is to see if it has an electronic locking diff. All FX4's had those.

We're the ranchos part of the fx4 package?
