Totaled truck saved

My father in law ran my truck off of the road a while back. To my suprise the insurance company totaled it out. Fortunately I have a buddy that used to work in a body shop whom said he would help me fix it, so I bought it back from the insurance company and with a weeks worth of work and about 2 grand in parts and material we were able to get it almost as nice as before the crash.
I canít seem to figure out how to get the pictures in the proper order.Totaled truck saved-img_2466.jpg

$10,118.
It actually worked out quite well for me. With what I had already paid into the loan, the purchase price from the insurance company, and repair cost, minus the insurance pay out, I am under $10,000 total investment in the truck and I own it outright, no more payments. Pretty stoked about that!!

That took some serious work!!
They said they I would have to replace the front bumper and the bed on mine, cut out and repair a couple pillars, and that the rear axle had shifted. We just had to pull out the rear cab corner a little bit and slightly tweak one hinge on the front door. The bumper was easily bent back, the bed doesnít look as good as before, but is fully functional and the rear axle doesnít look like it moved a bit.
